Inviting & Managing Users
Blueprint Studio is an invite-only platform, meaning users must be invited to join your workspace. This ensures that only authorized team members and clients can access your projects.
π Inviting a New User
Blueprint Studio is an invite-only platform, meaning users must be invited to join your workspace. This ensures that only authorized team members and clients can access your projects.
Step 1: Go to the "Users" Section
Click on "Settings" in the main menu.
Select "Users" to open the user list.
Step 2: Invite a New User
Click the "Add User" button in the upper-right corner.
Enter the following details:
Email Address β The email where the invitation will be sent.
Username β Must be unique, with no spaces or special characters.
User Type β Select from Employee, Client, or Vendor.
First & Last Name β Helps identify the user in the system.
Additional Information (Optional).
Click "Save and Send Invitation".
π The user will receive an email invitation with a link to join Blueprint Studio. Once they accept, they can set up their password and log in.
Step 3: Set Project Permissions
From the User List, click on the username of the newly created user.
Locate the "Projects Visible To " section.
Select the projects you want the user to have access to.
Click the "+" button to assign the project to the user.

Blueprint Studio supports different user roles, each with specific access:
Employee
β All projects, proposals, budgets
β Products, invoices, purchase orders
β Approve proposals, budgets
β Boards, Items, Proposals, Budgets, Invoices
Client
β Their assigned projects
β Cannot edit
β Approve proposals, invoices
β Proposals, Boards visible to them
Vendor
β Only relevant purchase orders
β Cannot edit
β No approvals
β Purchase Orders
Each role ensures secure access while keeping sensitive data protected.
π Managing Existing Users
You can update or remove users anytime:
Go to "Settings > Users".
Select the user you want to update.
You can:
Change their role
Adjust permissions
Deactivate or remove their account
β Troubleshooting User Invitations
User didn't receive an email? β Ask them to check spam/junk folders. β Resend the invitation from the "Manage Users" page.
Wrong email address? β Delete the invitation and send a new one.
