Reports & Exports

Blueprint Studio includes built-in reports and export tools to help you analyze data, review progress, and share information with clients or your accounting team. Reports pull live data from your projects — ensuring they’re always accurate and up to date.

You can export any grid or report to Excel with one click for deeper analysis or external sharing.


Accessing Reports

Access Reports

From the main menu, click Reports, then choose from available report types such as:

  • Project Summary

  • Schedule Report

  • Financial Summary

  • Budget Comparison

  • Item List Export

Apply Filters

Select filters like project, date range, or status to focus the report.

Generate

Click Generate Report — Blueprint Studio will display the results instantly.


Project Reports

Project-level reports summarize all activity and financial performance for a single project.

You can view:

  • Total project revenue

  • Total vendor cost

  • Profit margin percentage

  • Client payments and balances

  • Open purchase orders

Use project summaries in client meetings to show progress and financial transparency.


Schedule Reports

Schedule reports provide a detailed view of project timelines and deliverables. They can include:

  • Task names and dates

  • Assigned team members

  • Status (Pending, In Progress, Completed)

  • Notes or dependencies

Open the project schedule.

Export Options

Click Download PDF or Export to Excel.


Financial Reports

Financial reports help you analyze profitability across all projects.

Common reports include:

  • Profit by Project

  • Sales by Category

  • Tax Summary

  • Open Invoices / Outstanding Balances

You can filter by date range or client for more focused insights.

Combine these reports with your QuickBooks integration to keep your accounting perfectly aligned.


Item Reports

Item reports show detailed information about all items within one or multiple projects. They can include:

  • Item name, vendor, and category

  • Room or section assignment

  • Unit cost, price, and markup

  • Proposal and PO status

Export these to Excel for custom formatting or vendor coordination.


Exporting to Excel

Most lists and reports in Blueprint Studio can be exported easily.

Open Export Menu

Click Export → Excel (.xlsx) in the top-right corner of the view.

Choose Columns

Choose whether to include all columns or selected ones.

Download

The file will download automatically.

Use exports for detailed cost analysis or when preparing presentations and summaries.


PDF Reports

You can also generate PDF reports for client or internal use.

Open Module

Open a project or module (e.g., Items, Schedule).

Download PDF

Click Download PDF.

Layout Options

Choose your layout preferences (with or without images).

Finalize

The document opens in a new tab — ready for printing or sharing.


Budget Reports

Budget reports compare estimated vs. actual figures, providing insight into how spending aligns with initial plans.

They summarize totals for:

  • Estimated Cost vs. Actual Cost

  • Estimated Price vs. Actual Revenue

  • Profit / Loss by category or room

Budget comparison reports are ideal for end-of-project reviews or client recaps.


Sharing Reports

Once generated, you can share reports by email or save them for your records.

Generate or export the report.

Click Share (if available) or attach the exported file to an email.

Save to Project

You can also upload reports back into a project’s Attachments tab for easy access later.
