Settings & Preferences

Blueprint Studio includes flexible settings that let you customize how your company and projects operate. You can configure company branding, tax codes, payment terms, and document layout preferences to match your workflow.

Most settings are managed by an administrator. Changes apply across your entire company unless specified as project-level overrides.

Company Settings

Company settings define global information and defaults for your Blueprint Studio workspace.

1

Access Company Settings

Go to Settings → Company Profile.

2

Review or update

  • Company name and logo

  • Address and contact info

  • Default currency

  • Default tax code or rate

3

Save changes

Click Save.

Your logo and contact details automatically appear on all client-facing documents such as proposals and invoices.

Use a transparent PNG logo for best appearance on PDFs and emails.

Users & Permissions

Manage who can access Blueprint Studio and what they can do.

1

Navigate to Settings → Users.

2

View users

You’ll see a list of all users with roles like Designer, Admin, or Client.

3

Invite a new user

Click Invite User to add a new person.

4

Assign a role

Assign a role that defines their permissions.

Common roles:

  • Admin: Full access to company settings, financials, and user management.

  • Designer: Can manage projects, proposals, and items.

  • Bookkeeper: Can access invoices and payments but not design data.

  • Client: Limited access to approved proposals, invoices, and payments.

Keep roles clearly defined — it helps maintain data security and reduces accidental changes.

Tax Codes & Rates

Blueprint Studio supports flexible tax setup to handle multiple locations or categories.

1

Go to Settings → Tax Codes.

2

Add a tax code

Click Add Tax Code.

3

If you update a tax rate, existing documents keep their original rate to preserve historical accuracy.
